William B. Meyer, Inc. Employees Make Memories with Company Wide Commemorative Group Photo!

William B. Meyer, Inc. employees gathered on Monday, July 27 to add another “page” to their yearlong 100th anniversary celebration.  More than 120 of the William B. Meyer, Inc. team and family members gathered at the Stratford, CT location parking lot for a group photo to commemorate the company’s milestone of one hundred years in business.  The final photo was framed and unveiled on August 28 in the lobby of the Stratford headquarters. It is now proudly displayed in Stratford along with the Windsor, CT and Bedford Hills, New York facilities.

One month prior to the photo shoot, employees were encouraged to attend the photo shoot through a companywide email. The William B. Meyer, Inc. team received an invitation from the 100 Year Photo team with the added incentives of a “dress down” day, a commemorative t-shirt to wear for the photo shoot, and ending with a unique ice cream party provided by local Tipsy Cones Ice Cream Truck out of Stratford, CT.

All of the William B. Meyer, Inc. team and family members were dressed in their commemorative blue t-shirts and black pants or skirts.  Members of the William B. Meyer, Inc. 100 Year Photo team coordinated the placement of everyone who signed up to display the huge number 100 on the company parking lot to commemorate one hundred years in business.

Mike Racette, Vice President and General Manager at William B. Meyer, Inc., thanked all those involved; “We wanted to thank everyone who joined us in making a memory at the 100 Year Group Photo. We also wanted to extend a special thank you to the 100 Year Photo team; Larry Mammone, Jenna DePasquale, Rob Randolph, and Jan Wojna, for all of their hard work planning this event over the past couple of months. The 100 Year Photo team also wants to thank Danielle Cornish, Stephanie Castro, Cindy Guerrero, Jim Halligan, and Tad Derouin for helping on the day of to ensure that the shoot went off without a hitch! Without your participation this memory would not have been possible, thank you for making this a day for the William B. Meyer history book!”
