William B. Meyer has appointed Michael Cavallo as Director of Sales for the Storage and Logistics Group of the company. Cavallo’s extensive management experience and his repeated, noted distinction as a leader in sales will make him an asset in developing a strategic regional expansion plan that will help achieve William B. Meyer’s growth objectives. Cavallo will match clients in a variety of industries with customized, price-competitive and flexible plans to match their data collection, storage and records management needs. Past clients have included companies in the legal, medical, financial, commercial and industrial sectors.
Cavallo came to William B. Meyer in 2008 after fourteen years of running his own Connecticut-based records management company. As a Senior Account Manager, Cavallo joined the sales team, earned multiple Sales Achievement Awards and was honored as the Salesperson of the Year in 2010. He understands the importance of customer service and is committed to improving William B. Meyer’s already high standard of customer care. In addition to managing data storage solutions like secure offsite hardcopy storage, backup tape rotation, archival media storage, and electronic data vaulting, Cavallo will introduce two new technologies that will streamline the process: document imaging and shredding.
Good records management systems breed efficiency in a company by securely storing documents that can be quickly accessed by employees. However, vital corporate documents are sometimes only available as hard copies – leaving incomplete electronic records. With document imaging, Cavallo will offer William B. Meyer clients a solution to this problem. Clients will enjoy boosted efficiency, improved security and ease of mind. Similarly, document shredding provides a client security through the complete certified destruction of sensitive information. Cavallo states, “By choosing document imaging and shredding as part of their records management program, clients are choosing to entrust William B. Meyer with the entire life-cycle of a document. I take the responsibility seriously and look forward to providing each client with the best and most secure service possible.”
William B. Meyer looks forward to the dynamism that Cavallo will bring to his position: “I congratulate Mike on his much-deserved promotion. He is well-respected in our industry and puts passion and devotion into everything that he does. As we continue to roll-out new services and geographically expand our offerings, William B. Meyer and our clients will benefit from his energy, enthusiasm and leadership skills.” – Ted Kennedy, Vice President of Sales for William B. Meyer.
