William B. Meyer, Inc. Announces Its Third Quarter LIV Winners

William B. Meyer, Inc. today announced its Values Leader and Values Honorable Mentions as part of the LEADERSHIP IN VALUES employee recognition program.   Honorable Mentions for third quarter 2013 went to Rob in Maintenance out of Stratford, and Gene in Logistics out of Stratford.  Our overall Values Leader was Larry in the IT department out of Stratford for his exceptional integrity and dependability while helping to develop and troubleshoot a new major account media vault program in Windsor.

The LIV program continues to grow as more standout employees are recognized. For the first time, MEYER’s Stratford location produced all of the winners this quarter!

Larry was voted as Values Leader for his tremendous dependability and stewardship which extended beyond the needs of his own department. Larry was nominated by four of his peers for his recent work with a new large account. Larry illustrated four of our leadership values, Dependability, Creativity, Stewardship, and Integrity during the complex design work and testing that went into setting up this account. His unrelenting efforts ensured that the job got done correctly and that all assets were secure. He worked at all hours of the night and even weekends to resolve any unforeseen issues that arouse. Larry showed exemplary creativity and accountability when dealing with all of the complex issues that occurred while installing new software to properly run the tape vault in Windsor.

LIV_Rob_ValuesHM_Q3_Web2Rob, Values Honorable Mention, was nominated for his impressive dependability and integrity which was a tremendous asset to the marketing department while they were rolling out the LIV, Leadership in Values, program. He installed all seven video boards and nomination boxes, along with five parking signs at each of our three locations with no hesitation. Without Rob’s involvement in the logistical efforts for all of MEYER’s charity events throughout the year they would not run as smoothly as they do. Rob is always running around working on projects, but he is never too busy to offer his knowledge and creative ideas when you have a question or project that needs to be completed.

Gene, Values Honorable Mention, was nominated for his exceptional dependability and creativity when helping another business unit at William B. Meyer address an error which LIV_Gene_ValuesHM_Q3_Weboccurred with one of their clients’ late in the day.  He exemplified creativity when having to move around multiple drivers’ schedules and routes to ensure that correct packages would be delivered to the client by 7 a.m. the next morning in order to rectify the situation. Gene’s dependability and stewardship ensured the client received their order on time, and that William B. Meyer’s reputation was well protected.
