When Texas Instruments needed to relocate computers, electronic devices, and specialized equipment from their Manchester, New Hampshire semiconductor design and engineering facility to Texas, precision wasn’t optional—it was essential.

Phase 1: Electronics Packing & Protection
The primary scope involved packing numerous electronic devices into reinforced D-containers and palletizing larger electronic equipment for shipment to Texas. The challenge? Semiconductor design and engineering equipment requires protection not just from physical damage, but from electrostatic discharge (ESD) that can destroy sensitive electronic components.
Meyer’s team used anti-static bubble wrap throughout the packing process—a critical safeguard for protecting delicate electronics during transport. Standard packing materials can generate static electricity that damages microchips, circuit boards, and other components. Anti-static materials prevent ESD, ensuring equipment arrives in Texas ready for immediate use.
Phase 2: Decommissioning & Final Shipment
A second phase involved decommissioning the facility and shipping remaining office items (approximately one skid) to Dallas, Texas—completing the comprehensive relocation while clearing the Manchester space for its next use.
