Joseph Pesticci originally joined Meyer in 2001 as Controller of the Transportation Services Group. His tenure with the company has been marked by quickly increasing responsibilities resulting in 2010 with his being named Vice President and CFO. He now manages the accounting and benefits group, and continues to specialize in establishing internal controls and revamping work process flow across all company lines. His ability to incorporate new technologies, while understanding the diverse operations of the company, has enabled ownership to gather greater business insights through improved management and financial reporting. In 2008, the company also appointed Joe as Chief Strategic Officer where he is instrumental in leading it through the development of ongoing business initiatives. His involvement in the overall strategic process blends well with his financial responsibilities, and is perhaps one of his most enjoyable duties. Joe holds a B.S. in Accounting, and M.B.A. in Finance, both from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, and obtained his C.P.A. while working at KPMG Peat Marwick.
