Meyer Supports Major Bank’s Workspace Transition with Two-Year Storage Solution
As organizations nationwide navigate the return to office, Meyer recently completed a project that demonstrates some of our wide array of workplace solutions capabilities: the storage and return of nearly 5,000 Herman Miller Aeron chairs for one of the world’s largest financial institutions.
Two Years of Careful Storage
The Herman Miller Aeron chair is a design icon that revolutionized workplace ergonomics. When our banking client needed to store thousands of these premium chairs during their workspace transition, we warehoused them carefully for two years, maintaining the quality and condition of each piece.
Returned Better Than Before
As return-to-office momentum continues to accelerate, we didn’t just move these chairs back—our team cleaned and inspected each one before delivery. The result: nearly 5,000 chairs returned in even better condition than when we picked them up.
Supporting Workplace Evolution
This project reflects the evolving workplace landscape and Meyer’s role in supporting organizations through transitions. Whether it’s storing assets during restructuring, facilitating hybrid work models, or preparing spaces for employees’ return, we provide the flexibility that modern workplace strategies require.
From pandemic-driven changes to strategic office transformations, organizations need partners who understand that workplace solutions extend beyond moving day. Our work in storage, asset management, and planning helps clients adapt to changing needs while protecting their investments.
