When Wilmington University saw an opportunity to grow, it thought big.
The university acquired a 266,000 sq ft former Chubb Insurance complex located on 20 acres directly across from its Brandywine Campus in New Castle, Delaware. The acquisition gave Wilmington University an efficient path to expand its academic footprint and create space for its law school and business, technology, education, and health programs, without starting from the ground up.
The challenge was transforming a large corporate office environment into space ready for an entirely new purpose.
Wilmington University turned to Meyer to help make that transformation possible. Meyer provided the workplace solutions expertise needed to transition and decommission the existing office space, setting the stage for the university’s next phase of growth.
It’s more than moving out what was there. It’s about making room for what’s next.
