Meyer Helps Norwalk Recreation Center Upgrade Its Kitchen

When the Norwalk Recreation Center set out to modernize its kitchen facilities, they needed more than movers — they needed a team with the expertise to get heavy, complex equipment safely to a second-floor mezzanine. That’s where Meyer came in.

In late February, a five-person Meyer rigging crew tackled the job with precision and care. The team lifted two single-door freezers, a double-door freezer, and a double-stack oven to the mezzanine level, carefully positioning each piece in the new kitchen area. Once in place, the freezers were set upright and the double-stack oven was reassembled — exactly as it should be, ready for use.

Jobs like this are a great example of what sets Meyer apart. Getting large equipment into tight, elevated spaces takes planning, the right tools, and an experienced crew that knows how to solve problems on the fly. We’re proud to support community facilities like the Norwalk Recreation Center as they invest in their spaces — and the people who use them.
