Dodds Hall, on the campus of the University of New Haven is an academic hub that provides resources to almost ten thousand undergraduate and graduate students each year. One of the highlights found within the facility is a space dedicated to the Seton Gallery, a student-run art gallery that is an important part of the Department of Art and Design. The space exhibits work by students, faculty and visiting artists while celebrating diversity and promoting interdisciplinary practices.
Often, when UNH prepares for a new display the students and staff rely on Meyer’s experience in the safe and gentle relocation of these types of fragile items. Each item is carefully wrapped and packed before being moved and on many occasions the artwork is securely stored for a period of time in a Meyer’s climate-controlled facility.
