Pressing On: Maneuvering Critical Machines for a Branding Giant

Alphabroder, the apparel and product branding powerhouse, helps its customers to leave their mark on the world. To keep pace with their impressive growth, Alphabroder needed a nimble partner to navigate a logistical hurdle at one of their eleven warehouses. Enter Meyer, the rigging and relocation experts.

The task? Relocating four silk screening presses, each tipping the scales at nearly 1,500 pounds and stretching 12 feet wide. No small feat.

Over two action-packed weeks, Meyer’s crew orchestrated a flawless operation. With meticulous care, they rigged and removed the presses from their Bridgeport, Connecticut home.  These equipment stayed at Meyer’s nearby Stratford facility until their final destination – Alphabroder’s Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, location – was ready.

But the journey wasn’t over. The Meyer team meticulously prepped the presses for their over-the-road adventure, ensuring a smooth and stable ride. Upon arrival, they expertly guided the presses into their new Pennsylvania digs.

“From origin to destination, the project was a resounding success,” said Bob Davis, Meyer’s General Manager of Rigging. “Our team thrives on challenges, and this one was a textbook example of seamless execution. The client was absolutely thrilled with our service!”

This collaboration between Alphabroder and Meyer is a testament to the power of expert planning and execution. With Meyer’s rigging expertise on their side, Alphabroder can focus on what they do best – empowering businesses to brand the world, one item at a time.
